What is it?
The Simple Gifts Podcast is a weekly program. I talk about my life and family, and chat with other mothers about how they keep life simple, cultivate a grateful heart in themselves and their families, and use their gifts to make their world beautiful.

Each woman is unique in her gifts and the way she approaches her calling to motherhood. Each mother can offer so much to other mothers who may need a fresh perspective (who doesn’t sometimes?), inspiration or affirmation. I am interested in talking to mothers about their everyday lives. It’s just like sharing a talk over a cup of tea at a friend’s kitchen table. I’ll ask a few introductory questions and see how the Spirit leads us! Chats may take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more. The segments will be edited down to 20-30 minutes.
We also air “Father Augustine’s Daily Homilies” recorded in Bamber Bridge, Lancashire, UK and “A Moment of Grace” segment each weekday.

I don’t want to talk on air, but want to participate. How can I do that?
For those who are a little bit “camera shy”, I am seeking submissions for my daily short segment “A Moment of Grace”. I’m looking for little blessings and small, beautiful instances that hide among the dirty laundry, sticky fingerprints, and noise. Submissions don’t need to be any longer than a few sentences. Tell me how you were blessed and what you were doing when you were blessed. For example, maybe a little slip of paper printed with “I love Mama” fell out of the pocket of your child’s pants – the same child you’ve told a million times to clean his pockets out before putting them into the laundry… Ask me how I know about that one!
