My oldest had curls like that when he was little. I know how you feel - I couldn’t bring myself to cut them either. One day I left him home with my husband to do some quick shopping (very rare at the time because hubby wasn’t keen on diapers!), and when I came home the curls were gone!! I had to work really hard not to cry… still tear up a bit when I think about it - and he’s 10 years old now! His hair grew back comepletely straight - not a curl on his head - so sad…
