Daffodil Day!

Happy St. David’s Day! When we lived in England, March 1st would see daffodils srouting from the lapels of every proud welshman and woman. Daffodils always remind me of England. I adore them. Every spring, there were masses of them along the roadways and in gardens. It is a glorious site.
I found this little webpage with recipes and other resources to help you celebrate with your children or grandchildren. And later on, maybe you’d like to visit St. David’s Cathedral.
I found a recipe for Cawl Cennin, which I’m sure was pronouced “coal cannon” in my family. And It would have been made with beef, not lamb. And with the snow we’re getting today - around about 8 fresh inches - soup is just the ticket.
And since you’re going to be inside anyway, why not take a Welsh Class? Or enjoy the magnificent sights and sounds of Wales.
Hwyl fawr am nawr!
