Halfway today!
The Pea and I have made it safely to the halfway point. Only 20 more weeks until he arrives!
Still need to get some knitting done. Which has just given me a brainwave. I’ve only ever had one baby shower in a grand total of 10 pregnancies, so I don’t know if this is an original idea… Wouldn’t it be wonderful to gather a group of knitting friends and have a knitting shower? I suppose it would be a little like a quilting bee, each person working on a small item for the baby, or a piece of a pattern to be put together - like and afghan or a longie suit…
I’m off to the midwife shortly to listen to the thumpity thump of his little heart. He’s been kicking and stretching away in there. Good thing his older siblings made him plenty of room!

Yay! Grow baby grow! A knitting shower sounds like so much fun — too bad Oregon’s so far away - I’d love to stop by for some knitting and maybe some yummy shower goodies with tea or coffee.
